The Court's new local rules are effective as Interim Local Rules effective November 1, 2017.  The District Court has approved the Local Rules, and they have been transmitted to the Seventh Circuit Judicial Council.  We will treat the Rules as Interim Rules until the Judicial Council has given final approval. The Rules apply to cases filed on and after November 1, 2017, and to the extent practicable, to pending cases.  The Appendix, including the new mandatory Chapter 13 plan forms and the new presumed reasonable fee description, has been updated.  New local forms have been created and the new forms are available on the Local Rules page and the Sample Forms page.  The Court held a CLE session on the new local rules, and the outline and audio recording are available on the Local Rules page.
