Lou Jones Club

In memory of Chapter 13 Trustee Lou Jones, please join us for the Lou Jones Club to discuss current issues regarding consumer and commercial bankruptcy.

The Lou Jones Club meets on occasional Tuesdays from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, in Room 190 at the Federal Courthouse in Milwaukee. You are also invited to attend via videoconference at the Federal Courthouse in Green Bay, the Federal Courthouse in Eau Claire, Chapter 13 Trustee Rebecca Garcia's office in Oshkosh, Bosshard Parke's La Crosse office, and Godfrey and Kahn's Madison office.

Please note: If Milwaukee Public Schools District is closed due to inclement weather, the Lou Jones Club will be rescheduled for a later date.

The Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin is pleased to announce the 2024 Supreme Court Bankruptcy Cases Review Lou Jones Program.  The presentation will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from noon to 1:30 PM. It can be viewed live in Room 190 of the Milwaukee Federal Courthouse or online via Zoom.
 
Presenters Tom Shriner from Foley & Lardner, and Frank DiCastri from Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, have again agreed to provide an analysis of recent bankruptcy-related decisions from both the U.S. Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
 
Details on how to view the presentation on Zoom are below. An outline will be posted as we get closer to the presentation. Registration is not required, and we will apply for 1.5 CLE credits.
