Methods of Payment
Payments for electronically filed cases and documents must be made by credit card through PAY.GOV. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Over the counter payments can be made with cash, cashier's check, certified check, or money order made payable to "Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court". The Clerk's Office cannot accept a debtor's personal check or debtor's debit\check\credit card.
A voluntary petition by an individual will be accepted for filing if accompanied by the debtor's signed application stating that the debtor is unable to pay the filing fee except in installments. The application must state the proposed dates and amounts of the installments and that until the filing fee is paid in full, the debtor will not make any additional payment or transfer any additional property to an attorney or any other person for services in connection with the case.
